Charitable Donations from bkm OfficeWorks to Gift Drive
It was the season of giving for bkm OfficeWorks! With bkm being in the heart of Southern California, we felt the call to give back locally. We care deeply for our San Diego community and wanted to showcase that through action. This is why we teamed up with our partner, Steelcase, to create a positive impact. Together, we enlisted two ambitious team members and trapped them in bkm’s Orangebox AIR Pod until it was filled with donations.
We chose two powerful causes to donate to – San Diego Food Bank and Nueva Vida Haven Women’s Emergency Shelter. These organizations make a significant contribution to bettering lives in Southern California. We are proud to have been involved in their efforts for nourishing, restoring, and providing hope for individuals and families.
San Diego Food Bank
The Jacobs & Cushman San Diego Food Bank and our North County Food Bank create the largest hunger-relief organization in San Diego County. Last year, they distributed 63 million pounds of food and on average serve 550,000 people monthly.

Thank You
As shown in the picture above, the donations quickly filled up our Orangebox AIR Pod. Thank you to those who donated, shared the word, and provided support. Without you, this would not have been possible! Also, thank you to the San Diego Food Bank and Nueva Vida Haven Women’s Emergency Shelter for allowing us to be involved in their great organization.
